Course Description
Have you always wanted to start your own business, but were unsure how to start? Enrolling in the Small Business Entrepreneurship program is a perfect first step. Each weekly session of this 10-week intensive program will instill crucial knowledge, skills, and strategies to ensure a successful, well organized, and impactful start to any business.

Even if you already have your own business, but feel you could do more to drive its growth and success, this course will be invaluable to you. Sometimes making small tweaks in how you manage your business and your people can make all the difference in seeing your passion flourish.

Upon successful completion of Small Business Entrepreneurship, you will:
  • be able to open and operate your own business.
  • confidently put your business plan into action.
  • identify how successful organizations run.
  • make your current business more prosperous.
  • obtain a Recognition of Participation certificate.

No prerequisites required.

Course materials are included.
This course is eligible for the Canada – Alberta Job Grant (CAJG), which will reimburse up to 2/3 of the costs of training for organizations that qualify.

This course can be used toward the 150 hour requirement to obtain Blue Seal Certification. For more information go to,
