Course Description:
You put your heart and soul into developing your business, so you must be prepared to protect it.  There are a multitude of hazards that can threaten the livelihood of both your business and your valuable employees. Business Risk Management is an intensive course that will provide you with the knowledge essential to minimize exposure to risk while conserving your organization’s assets to maintain a successful and flourishing business.
Participants in Business Risk Management will develop the skills necessary to understand their personal role in managing risk, learn how to identify and measure exposure to loss, and develop strategies and methods to handle threats.  You will take away tools to help diminish uncertainty and leave you with a concrete plan to protect your people, your money, and your physical assets.

Upon successful completion of Business Risk Management, you will:
  • identify and analyze risks of your valuable business.
  • develop a Risk Management strategy for your company.
  • identify potential threats and manage them before they occur.
  • improve decision-making to save precious time, money, and employee morale.
  • possess the skills and strategies to protect your treasured business.
  • obtain a Recognition of Participation certificate.
No prerequisites required.

This series is eligible for the Canada – Alberta Job Grant (CAJG), which will reimburse up to 2/3 of the costs of training for organizations that qualify. Please ensure you submit your application at least 30 days before the training course start date and include each course in the series.
