Course Description
Is there anything better than the smell of fresh baked pumpkin spice coffee cake, apple cinnamon loaves, Chocolate bourbon pecan cupcakes or Chai spiced cream muffins?  When the weather is cooler, warm up in the kitchen with these mouth-watering, delicious fall inspired baked goods.  In this 3 hour class, Chef Amanda will inspire you to move your quick breads beyond basic banana bread.

Outcomes
  • Move beyond basic quick breads and expand your recipe base
  • Understand what makes quick breads quick (ingredient base)
  • Learn how to adjust your favourite muffin recipe to make a loaf
  • ??????Understand how to ‘sweeten’ quick breads to create a dessert

This course has no prerequisites.

You will take home everything you prepare/bake.  Please bring container(s) for your prepared food.
