Develop your knife skills by learning fundamental cutting techniques. Chef Adam will demonstrate slicing, dicing, chopping, mincing, carving, deboning, filleting and more on a variety of fruits, vegetables and proteins. Then, you will practice the essential cuts all cooks must master. Of course, we can't just prep! You will use all your sliced, diced and chopped ingredients to make a delicious, healthy dish.
Upon successful completion of this class you will:
- understand the process of breaking down whole proteins (poultry, beef, fish)
- learn the proper tools and techniques to use
- learn essential knife care and safety
