Course Description
Great public speakers are not born; they are developed through learning and deliberate practice. How well you communicate has a tremendous impact on your personal and professional success, yet, for many of us, speaking in public is one of our greatest fears.
The ability to deliver your ideas confidently and persuasively is a skill that is invaluable to people in every line of work. Strong presentation skills allow you to stand out, be heard, and will increase others respect for your capabilities and opinions.
In this workshop you will learn tips, tricks, and techniques for overcoming your public speaking anxiety as well as learn how to create an exceptional presentation. Whether you are a high profile business leader or a concerned citizen, you have the power to influence, educate, and motivate others when you speak to an audience. What are you waiting for?
THIS IS A FACE-TO-FACE COURSE OFFERING
Outcomes
Upon successful completion of Public Speaking/Presenting Skills, you will:
identify the source of your speaking fear.
use techniques to reduce anxiety and fear.
recognize what makes an effective presentation.
structure presentations while using audiovisual aids
prepare, practice, and present a short presentation.
present with confidence, ready to tackle any obstacles blocking your chosen goals.
obtain a Recognition of Participation certificate.
