Course Description
This course will teach you the information needed to manipulate different types of documents such as letters, forms, and newsletters.

The four essentials of word processing are creating, editing, saving, and printing. In Word Basics you will begin to explore the basics of these important and incredibly useful skills that any computer user must have. Prepare yourself for a wide diversity of job options by becoming well versed in Word. This course is designed for people who are familiar with personal computers, using a keyboard and using a mouse.


Upon successful completion of Microsoft Word Basics, you will:
  • be capable of creating, editing, saving and printing a wide variety of documents.
  • have practical examples of your new skill set that you can apply to your own business.
  • obtain a Recognition of Participation Certificate.

This course has no prerequisites.

Course materials are included.

This course will address the differences between the 2010, 2013 and 2016 versions of Microsoft Word.
