ClassGraphic Course description:
Turn lath into art!  In this 3-hour class, you will repurpose wooden lath into a work of art.  Using precut wood pieces, you can either replicate a mountain scene or get creative and create your own geometric pattern.  To ensure you complete a 12x12” art project in one night, wood will be pre-cut, however, the instructor will demonstrate how to measure and cut the wood used for this project so you can apply that knowledge to future projects.
Outcomes:
  • Learn how to measure and make angled wood cuts.
  • Learn about different staining and finishing techniques
  • Learn alternative uses for the project created (sign, table, serving tray)
  • Leave with the knowledge and confidence to create future projects yourself
