Lethbridge College has a summer camp for everyone, including hands-on educational camps like our popular youth culinary boot camp and developmental sport camps like Kodiaks basketball and volleyball.
Our inspiring instructors make our programs the perfect place to make new friends, have fun and learn something too.

Kodiaks Athletic Camps Basketball
Summer Basketball Sport Camp Co-ed (Ages 9-14)
These camps place a heavy focus on the overall development and acquisition of major skills. Some position specific training will be done but the primary focus is developing well-rounded skills and an appreciation for the game of basketball. Coaches expect athletes to try their best, be respectful and look to develop good sportsmanship and a team attitude.
Senior High Summer Basketball Sport Camp Co-ed (Ages 14-18)
This camp is focused on giving participants their best chance to be selected to, contribute, and succeed on their respective school teams.
Volleyball
Summer Volleyball Sport Camp Co-ed (Ages 11-14 )

This camp is focused on giving participants their best chance to be selected to contribute and succeed on their respective school teams.
Senior High Summer Volleyball Sport Camp – Co-ed (Ages 14-18)
This camp sees a greater increase in time spent with participants split into their positions of preference. Development is encouraged based on techniques and tactics that are position-specific and taught by coaches who have excelled in that position. Team play will see a variety of offensive and defensive strategies that the participants may expect to see when they get to a higher level of play.
2017 Volleyball Prep Program – (Ages 12-14 & 15-18)
The ASDC Volleyball Prep Program is a summer-long camp which focuses on highly individualized technical training, where each hour-long session will focus on a very particular aspect of a certain skill. The other component of the camp is the Strength and Conditioning sessions, which will be immediately following the technical sessions and run by certified personal trainers from Lethbridge College. These trainers have created a volleyball specific program to help increase mobility, strength and speed for the athletes as they prepare for their school year.
Running
2017 Running Prep Program – (Ages 10-18)
This summer-long program will help participants learn to become better, faster and smarter athletes. You will develop your base training, improve running efficiency, learn training principles and psychological aspects of endurance sports, build self-confidence, and learn strategies to win. To enrich the experience, three sport science seminars will be held on alternating Wednesdays.
Totally U G!rl
Totally U G!rl Summer Camp (Ages 8-12)
This specially designed program for teen and tween girls will prove to be the best week of the summer! We invite you to come and meet new friends while participating in a variety of fun and interactive sessions. The girls will also learn valuable lessons on how to continue to mature into confident young women!
Totally Dance Fusion
Totally Dance Fusion Summer Camp (Ages 8-14)
Come experience a variety of dance styles such as Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Bollywood and Contemporary. Also, get the chance to create your own original choreography and develop your own movement piece that will be incorporated into a final collage by the end of the week! Creative exploration of movement, music, rhythm and performance will be the focus of the camp. Anyone can come and join the fun! No experience necessary.
Culinary
Youth Culinary Boot Camp Level 2 (Ages 10-16)
Lethbridge College's Youth Culinary Boot Camp Level 2 is designed for those with basic cooking and kitchen safety skills interested in learning new cooking techniques and tricks, advancing their skills and adding to their confidence in the kitchen. This week program takes a more in-depth look at appetizers, soups, salads, main courses and dessert creations. On the last day campers execute a three-course lunch in our Garden Court dining room as a team for two of their invited guests.
Youth Baking Boot Camp (Ages 14+)
Lethbridge College’s Youth Baking Boot Camp is designed for individuals passionate about exploring the baking techniques of the culinary world. This week camp allows young bakers to explore hands on working with yeast rising products, variety of pastries using different types of dough and also experimenting with different types of cakes. They will top it all off by learning dessert sauces and plating styles.

Health Sciences
Health Sciences Career Academy (Grades 10-12)
This interactive, educational and unique summer camp in Lethbridge and Medicine Hat, AB will provide students with the opportunity to explore a wide variety of health sciences programs and careers.
This camp is offered in collaboration with Alberta Health Services, University of Lethbridge, Medicine Hat College and Careers: The Next Generation.

TRX Suspension Training
Looking for a fun and exciting workout? Want to try something new? Then get chiseled with an outdoor TRX suspension class. Overlooking the beautiful coulee landscape, you will burn calories and improve body composition. These challenging workouts use body weight to build strength, balance, and coordination. Every fitness level will be challenged, from the beginner exerciser to the advanced athlete.
