Course Description
The Business of Project Management course focuses on the Strategic and Business Knowledge aspects of project management in accordance with PMI® ’s Talent Triangle, which will also be examined. Analyse the choices a business will make prior to initiating a project to ensure it supports the strategic business outcomes. Define the relationship between projects, programs portfolios and understand the structure and benefits of a Project Management Office (PMO). Examine the role of the project manager as a leader of organizational change.



Upon successful completion of The Business of Project Management, you will be able to:
  • Identify and evaluate the term Project Management Office (PMO).
  • define and examine the strategic and business knowledge aspect of project management as a proven business strategy.
  • diagnose PMI® 's Talent Triangle and how it applies to ongoing professional development for project managers.
  • Recognize and examine Project, Program, and Portfolio Management in practice.

No prerequisites required.

You may take this course independently or choose to take the series in its entirety.
