Course Description
Have you ever wondered how the questions you ask affect the decisions you make? Decisions should start with asking the right questions, analyzing the information collected, and then acting in the best interest of you, your organization, and your employees. This sounds straight forward, but it is often confusing and can lead to procrastination and frustration.

In order to become effective decision makers, leaders must be reminded of how to take a structured approach to decision making to drive stakeholder buy-in, reduce bias, manage groupthink and analysis paralysis, and drive overall decision consistency. Thorough training on decision making will enable managers to realize greater decision making success – and this easily translates into significant business outcomes.

Upon successful completion of The Art of Decision Making, you will:
  • understand a research-based Decision Making Model and how it can work for you.
  • learn why strategic decision making will benefit your organization.
  • gain an understanding of the key process in strategic decision making.
  • possess an ability to generate various alternatives and evaluate them.
  • create an action plan for ongoing decision-making development.
  • obtain a Recognition of Participation certificate.
