Course Description Do you love kids? Are you looking for a summer job? Come participate in our week long babysitter training program to give you the skills needed to be a reliable and in-demand babysitter. During this camp you will become First Aid and CPR Level-C certified by The Heart and Stroke Foundation and obtain a Babysitter Certificate from the Canada Safety Council in order to give you the confidence to handle all situations with ease. In addition, you will receive hands-on cooking experience, learn valuable babysitting techniques, build your own business cards and resume, and acquire other valuable tools to help you excel in the world of babysitting.    Prerequisites This course has no prerequisites.   Ages This camp is for youth between the age of 12-16. Notes Cost includes First Aid Certification, Canada Safety Council Babysitter Certificate, manuels, and all course materials.   Please bring a bagged lunch. *When registering, please register as the participant that will attend the camp.

Course Description: For Boys & Girls (Ages 8-12) Get ready to move, learn and have fun with our Move to Improve Physical Literacy Camp!   This one-week camp will help develop your child’s functional movement skills, giving them the confidence needed to engage in regular physical activity for the rest of their lives.    The camp will include activities specifically designed to foster physical literacy development through group learning, challenge and fun. Our focus will be placed on increasing your child’s confidence in motion and developing their motor skills through a combination of engaging activities and sports. With motivating instructors from the Lethbridge College Exercise Science program, your child will have a blast all week long Notes: Please bring a lunch and water bottle each day!

Also, get the chance to create your own original choreography and develop your own movement piece that will be incorporated into a final collage by the end of the week! Creative exploration of movement, music, rhythm and performance will be the focus of the camp. Anyone can come and join the fun! No experience necessary. Course Description Lethbridge College's Youth Culinary Boot Camp provides campers the opportunity to discover basic cooking techniques in a professional kitchen. This camp has been created with young food enthusiasts in mind, allowing students to learn hands on in the kitchen. Lethbridge College’s Culinary Youth Boot Camp allows students to explore all aspects of meal creations; appetizers, soups, salads, main courses, and desserts. On the last day, campers execute a three-course lunch in our Garden Court dining room as a team for two of their invited guests.   Prerequisites This course has no prerequisites.   Ages This camp is for youth between the age of 10-16. Course Description In this week long animation summer camp, you will imagine, plan, and develop your own character animation. Some of the tools and processes used by Hollywood animators and film producers will be used to create imaginative and fun animations. Walk away with a completed animation and the basic skills and resources needed to produce future animations. The week will end with an exclusive screening of all the animations for the participants’ family and friends. If you like art, animation, movies, or computers, this workshop is for you!
