Personal and Virtual Communication

Course Description
When we look at truly extraordinary communicators who inspire and make a difference, we see that they do this by connecting with people at a personal and emotional level. How do they do this so well? What can workplace leaders learn from what they do? In this course, we will examine and discuss personal communication styles and how emotions influence what we think, what we do, and what we say. Most now acknowledge that emotional intelligence is an essential component of effective leadership. However, modern communication is also changing dramatically with virtual workers and virtual teams now far more commonplace. Therefore, it is important to take stock of these changes and work to deepen and diversify our personal and virtual communication skills.
