Pesticide Applicator Recertification - Virtual Session

Course Description
Alberta Environment requires that anyone holding a Pesticide Applicator's Certificate obtain fifteen credits/continuing education units (CEU's) within their 5-year certification period in order to re-certify. 
Participation in a (1) training/information session equals (1) CEU in the designated area.  Sessions are LIVE virtual meetings.  You must attend the meeting for it's complete duration to earn credit.  Attendance will be monitored. 
You may register in as many sessions as necessary to meet your recertification requirements.  A total of six different sessions are available.  Enter a separate registration for each session you want to participate in. 


?? If you took this recertification course previously for credits, you cannot earn these credits again.
 
Outcomes
Upon successful completion of (1) Pesticide Applicator Recertification class, you will:
  • have earned (1) CEU in the designated category, 
  • gain knowledge regarding pesticide application,
  • met your recertification requirements (in part, or in whole),
  • review/gain understanding regarding current legislation and safety involved in pesticide application.

No prerequisites required.
 
Notes
 
Sessions will be one hour long followed by a brief Q&A period.  To participate in these virtual meetings, you must have internet access.  A computer camera, headset and microphone would be an asset.  An invitation with the meeting information will be emailed to you.  Zoom will be the platform utilized to host these meetings.  Participants can download Zoom at no cost.

Sessions are live.  They will not be recorded or available in an archive.  In order to earn CEU's, participants must be present for the full hour. Attendance will be monitored.

Having your home study material (binder) available during the meetings may be helpful.
