Course Description:
In this introductory hands-on cake decorating class, you will decorate a previously baked vanilla cake. Chef Amanda will focus on teaching you masking and basic piping skills. Leave not only with a beautifully decorated 8’ cake, but the confidence to bake and decorate in your home workspace. Learn tips of the trade from a professional baker to help you create scrumptious cakes with smooth icing and delicious fillings.
Outcomes:
Cake Decorating Basics will teach you:
- How to turn out professionally decorated cakes.
- Apply icing and frosting
- Basic piping techniques

You will take home a decorated 8” vanilla cake. Please bring your own appropriately sized container(s) to transport it home.
