Air Brake Training 'Q' Endorsement


Course Description Do you want to be a truck driver and need a ‘Q’ endorsement? To obtain this on your license, you must first complete the ‘Q’ endorsement air brake course training. The ‘Q’ Endorsement is required to operate any vehicle equipped with air brakes. This is a 12 hour Alberta Government-approved course designed to assist drivers in understanding air brake systems. Come learn the theory and best practices of air brakes. You will not receive the corresponding ticket until an Air Brake Knowledge Test has been passed at a Registry Agent; approximate cost is $20. Outcomes Upon successful completion of Air Brake Training ‘Q’ Endorsement, you will: understand braking fundamentals and system operations. know when system failures happen and how to deal with them. use driving tips presented by our qualified instructors. have obtained adequate knowledge to write the Air Brake Knowledge Test.
