Course Description:
Authorized Assistants are able to perform pesticide applications under the supervision of a certified applicator. In addition, Authorized Assistants are able to apply pesticides listed in section 5(11) of the Environmental Code of Practice for Pesticides without direct supervision by a certified applicator.
Outcomes:
Upon successful completion of Pesticide Authorized Assistant Certification, you will:
- be able to apply pesticides under supervision.
- know about the safety and legislation involved in pesticide application.
- obtain certification as a Pesticide Authorized Assistant.
Prerequisites:
No prerequisites required.
Notes:
Lunch and coffee is provided each day of the course.
This course includes one day of legislation and safety training with a 1 hour exam given the same day as the tutorial (cost of exam is included in registration fee).
