Course Description
It is inevitable that employees will leave your organization. Being prepared for these departures will lessen the impact on the team and the organization. Succession planning, cross training, and knowledge transfer are key activities to ensuring that you are ready for employee departures.
As part of our Staffing Essentials Series, this course will go through succession planning and will help you learn strategies to prepare for retirements and resignations. Start thinking about the future of your organization now, and be prepared to handle transitions gracefully and professionally.
Outcomes
Upon successful completion of Managing Transitions and Succession Planning, you will:
- understand the need for a key role succession plan and be able to build one.
- understand the value of cross training and know how to implement it.
- be able to plan for employee departures.
- obtain a Recognition of Participation certificate.
