Fitness Alberta Foundations in Physical Activity and Exercise
Course Description:
This course is the first step towards formal recognition as a Certified Fitness Leader by the Alberta Fitness Leadership Certification Association (AFLCA).
This course will cover basic fitness principles and a variety of activity experiences.
Course topics include:
anatomy
physiology
movement mechanics
training and conditioning
nutrition
leadership and health and fitness
We recommend that you complete this Exercise Theory course prior to the specialty courses.
