Course Description
Using a computer can be confusing for a variety of reasons. Microsoft Basics for Beginners is a great course for participants who are new to computers and the Microsoft Windows operating system.
Within this course, you will learn fundamental skills for operating a computer and Microsoft programs including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Outcomes
Upon successful completion of Computer Basics for Beginners, you will:
- understand the wide range of applications of Microsoft Windows.
- understand how to construct cell data and worksheets in Microsoft Excel.
- be capable of creating, editing, and saving interactive PowerPoint presentations.
- be capable of creating, editing, saving and printing a wide variety of documents in Microsoft Word.
- Understand how to send and receive emails through Outlook.
- have practical examples of your new skill set that you can apply to your own needs.
- obtain a Recognition of Participation certificate.
