Course Description
Keeping track of your business’s finances by hand can get overwhelming fast. That’s why most business owners use some form of accounting software. QuickBooks is accounting software for business owners who want to keep their finances organized and accurate, but don’t necessarily have a lot of accounting knowledge.
QuickBooks Level 1 is an introductory QuickBooks course that targets features like working with the General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Receivable, Inventory, Records, and Payroll.
Outcomes
Upon successful completion of QuickBooks Level 1, you will:
- discuss basic QuickBooks features and applications.
- add the ability to use QuickBooks to your resume.
- understand how to take charge of your own accounting.
- obtain a Recognition of Participation certificate.

This course is eligible for the Canada – Alberta Job Grant (CAJG), which will reimburse up to 2/3 of the costs of training for organizations that qualify.
