Course Description
Come join us to get certified for asbestos removal or abatement work. Current and future workers involved with asbestos removal or abatement will surely benefit from the topics covered in this course.
This two day course facilitated by Alberta Safety & Environmental Services (AES) Ltd., will teach you everything you need to know for the end exam, leading to a certificate recognized by the provincial government's Workplace Health and Safety division.
Outcomes
Upon successful completion of Asbestos Abatement Certification, you will:
- understand the correct procedures, tools and equipment to use for asbestos removal and abatement
- know the effects of asbestos and its health implications
- have obtained adequate knowledge to write the Asbestos Abatement Test leading to a certificate recognized by the provincial government's Workplace Health and Safety division
